For the first time ever, the World Series of Poker Circuit and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida are teaming up for the very first time. The casino will play host to the WSOPC starting from September 21st, offering a full two weeks of tournament gaming action.

According to a recent press release, the WSOPC will be offering quality poker gaming at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino starting on the 21st of September until October 2nd. Players will be able to compete in tournament events over a two-week time frame which will include 14 official WSOPC ring events.

The schedule is full of premium poker gaming, with the first day offering the $580 NLH $500,000 Guaranteed Opener. Offering re-entry, this event is sure to be a big hit among amateurs and pros alike. This event will begin on the 21st and continue until the 24th. The Main Event is another signature tournament on the schedule, running from September 29th until October 2nd. This tournament has a buy-in of $1,675 and will offer up $1 million in guaranteed prize money. This tournament offers single re-entry.

For the high rollers, the WSOPC Florida stop will provide a High Roller NLH tournament, with $250,000 in guaranteed prize money. This event offers re-entry and has a buy-in of $3,250. The high roller event will take place from October 1st to the 2nd.

Larry Frank, the General Manager of Poker Operations for Seminole Gaming, commented in the press release that the WSOP is the largest and most historic name in the industry. As the gaming venue continues to grow their brand in Florida as well as globally, Frank commented that the partnership with the WSOP proves a natural fit for Seminole Gaming and helps to further establish their position as a premier destination for top poker play.

The WSOPC awards two players with an entry worth $10,000 into the WSOPC Global Casino Championship, which is the season ending event. This stop will be no exception. The winner of the Main Event will earn an entry as well as the player who is named the Casino Champion. The Casino Champion is the individual who is the overall point earner during the series stop based on the points model of the WSOP.

The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year competition will see the Main Event count towards earning points. Players who take part can earn points that will count as part of the competition. Players who take part in SHRP Championships earn points and this event counts towards the race.
